A Slippery Slope
No worries: mine is too.
In addition to being among the final stops on food's journey through the body, the rectum and colon are responsible for absorbing water from waste so you pass solid stool. Unlike other pleasure-seeking holes in our anatomy, our butt needs some help in the lubrication department. Today's blog is all about lube as it pertains to wrecking your bum. Stick around a bit for my recommendation below.
I started out remarkably unprepared in this department.
The first time I took a fist (my own), it was with the help of Crisco shortening. It's a classic in the fisting world and I'm certainly not above using it from time to time, even today. For unknown reasons, when I began to put glass dildos and larger Doc Johnson toys in my butt, I grabbed the closest bedroom product that wouldn't break the bank: shea butter with Vaseline.
Sure, it worked and certainly helped me take these toys, plus the baseball bat I kept in my closet. Yet even the delightful scent of my cocoa-buttered anal sphincter couldn't compete with my first fisting-forward lube. A seasoned fister poured freshly-mixed K Lube into his hands and made my eyes roll back, enamored of the ease with which he opened me up and the strings of lube as he spun his hands around each other.
Since then, I've tried several lubes.
By and large, powder-based lubes are going to be superior than common brands like Gun Oil. They come with a higher initial investment, but allow you to mix buckets of the stuff. If you have the budget to make a bigger up-front purchase, do it! Here are the lubes I've used, my thoughts, and my recommendations.
JLube is designed for animals (which initially scared me when I was just starting out). It's quite popular for being slippery. However, it's sugar-based and lacks preservatives. Unfortunately, this means its susceptible to growing mold unless refrigerated.
KLube and XLube are not sugar-based and, in my experience, are less prone to developing mold. KLube in particular has preservatives, while XLube does not. XLube is my lube of choice because it does not require as much curing as KLube. From water to lube, it takes about 20 minutes. I feel good about what goes into my body because there are no preservatives. Without the preservatives, though, XLube has a tendency to turn back to water if you don't use it quick enough. Solution: fuck yourself more.
There are a few other options on the market that I've tried. FFäusten markets itself as a fister's lube. It's not my favorite consistency, however, you can mix it and use it right away. For the sake of ease, this is a winner if you're low on time, ready to go, and find yourself high and dry.
Like many of your favorite content creators, I'm sold on XLube. I almost always have a bottle ready to go, keeping an in-use calf feeder bottle from Amazon (for squirting deep inside me) and a spare as back-up. When it comes to choose your lube, I recommend you choose the one that is most economical and more comfortable.
With one major exception: do not use silicone lube on your toys! It can cause degradation.
Now get out there, get wet, and get sloppy, holes.
I'm not sponsored by any of the lubes mentioned in this blog. But I'm open to it.
